Reflections are real hot right now, mostly thanks to iTunes reflected album art (like a year ago).  Now everywhere I go I see this effect done wrong (Oliver and Flor know).  Anyway now I am doing it, and I hate being trendy but it works.

Robert showed me this Blackle search page while we were in France together.  So By changing this background to black I save you electricity while you view my page.  It's taken me nearly two months to make the connection between the Blackle page and my blog.  Not too stupid, not too smart.

Black and white and color

My latest photos of furniture.  This effect can be really effective, a la Schindler's List, or really cheesy, i.e. this year's Super Bowl team intros.  It works alright with the furniture because wood has muted tones with subtle contrasts.  Turn the background black and white and BOOM the furniture is coming off the page (screen).
